The 2nd International Circular Economy Exhibition “Forward Green”, took place from 7 to 9 March 2024. This year, it was enriched with “RENEWABLEENERGYTECH”, a large-scale and international trade fair, exclusively for the market of “green” and “smart” energy.

The international character of the two exhibitions is reflected in the participation of 210 exhibitors (direct and indirect) from 20 countries.

Dozens of companies operating in Greece and in the countries of Southeast Europe in the sectors of the circular economy, waste management, Renewable Energy Sources (photovoltaic, wind, biomass, biogas, hydroelectric, geothermal, etc.), energy storage, hydrogen and “green” gases, electrification, savings, smart management applications, waste reuse practices, raw material utilization, recycling and are the exhibitors of the two events.

The LIFE-Integrated Project CYzero WASTE participated with its presentation in the event organized by the Union of Graduated Greek Engineers (EDEM) “Environment and Energy” in Thessaloniki, on March 8.

The event was a channel of communication and exchange of expertise between actors from various sectors involved in the transition to the Circular Economy. Attending various presentations focusing on Alternative Municipal Waste Management provided the opportunity for dialogue, exchange of ideas and good environmental practices while giving the impetus for possible synergies between the participants.
